So how’s everyone’s Wednesday going? Mine’s
fantastic, considering tomorrow is my “Friday” for the week, it’s even
better. You see Fridays we are done at 1:00 so that’s mean since we
have Friday as a holiday, tomorrow we are off at 1pm. Wahoo! I’m so ready for a long weekend.
Workout: Day 4 LiveFit Trainer – Shoulders & Abs
I was a little nervous about this workout today.
My shoulders aren’t the strongest, and I didn’t want to make a fool of
myself at the gym. I decided I should go with some lighter weights to
make sure I still have good form, instead of
trying to lift heavy and be sloppy and potentially hurt myself. I
think that’s where a lot of people go wrong. I think most folks think
that they have to lift heavy to get results, but if your body isn’t
there yet you can really do some damage. It’s better
to lift light, build up your muscle gradually and over time be able to
increase the weights. I’m not looking to impress anyone down at the gym
so I guess I shouldn’t care how heavy my weights are.
I know I said yesterday that I feel like I didn’t
get a good burn on my legs, but I am starting to feel it today,
especially in my quads and calves. Not enough to make me walk funny,
but enough to feel it, I still might take it up a notch
next week, but we’ll see.
brekkie was egg scramble and a naked waffle |
I put entirely to many chives in my eggs this
morning. I have some growing in our backyard that I picked, I love
chives but this was a bit much – and made my breath smell
am = coconut yogurt and pumpkin bars |
This yogurt was good - had flakes of real coconut, but it had a ton of sugar :( probably wont get it again for that reason
i added a tbsp of pb2 to this |
pm = chicken muffins |
Another Jamie Eason recipe. These are really good, a nice punch of protein before my workout
Dinner = turkey burger, green beans w/almonds, cutie |
I have three "rest" days now until my next gym workout but I'm hoping to get out for bike ride tomorrow since I'll have the afternoon off. So be on the lookout for me in spandex!
