Second week slump

Hey Hey Hey!  Hope ya’ll are having a great Tuesday!

Workout: Day 10 LiveFit Legs & Calves

Well  I told myself (and all of you) last week that I would up my weights this time around.  So I did, and basically wobbled out of the gym.  My calves are gonna by screamin’ in about 2 days!
 I don’t know what it is, but whenever I start a new program or switch up my workout routine I always hit a ‘second week slump’ where I basically lose all motivation, and it gets real tough to stick with healthy eating and getting my workout in.  I’m not sure why, maybe cause I get so hyped up to start something new I use up all my energy in the first week, then I get hit with the reality that changes aren’t made overnight.  I should know this by now, but for some reason that darn week 2 always tries to derail me, never fails.  I know it doesn’t last, it never does, and I just have to remind myself of that.  Sometimes it gets really tough to be your own motivator though.  But I guess that’s why I have you people :)  So let’s help each other out during those “second week slumps”!
so true frog, so true

Oh, and I realized I should probably use my “real” camera instead of my phone from now on, so my future pics will be MUCH better.  Cause I know your dying for some high quality scrambled egg pics

In the meantime, here are some low quality ones for you…
bkfst = blurry scramble in a pita

a.m. = yogurt and choc. protein bars
 Confession, I didn't actually eat this flavor, I had black cherry but forgot to take a pic, this is just a lousy stand-in
p.m  = apple & lemon protein bars

dinner = can you see the steam?!  Chix stir fry with Trader Joes Soyaki sauce
 Last confession, per usual with the "slump", I just ate 2 pieces of Ezekiel cinnamon raisin toast with pumpkin butter...probably didn't need that....no pic cause I shoved it down my gullet before realized what I was doing, classy.

*Anyone else get in these slumps?  What do you do to combat it?
Me, I obviously eat a bunch of toast, not the best tactic
