Hey there sausage legs!

Happy Thursday ya'll!  Today starts my long weekend, yippee!  I was off work at 1pm, dusted off my rusty trusty steed and went for a nice road ride with my mom :)
I didn't actually wear that tragic hoodie riding - and probably shouldn't ever again

"Workout": 21 mile road bike ride.  Country roads, sunny skies and lots of wind :)

The reason this was just a "workout" is cause I don't really consider bike rides a workout.  There are more of a fun activity for me and I want to keep it that way.  I feel like once I start to look at it as a workout, it wont be fun anymore.  It was a casual pace, we could easily chat, and that's how I like my rides to be.  It is a rest day today and tomorrow for my training program, but I might still do a little something to get the legs a-movin'.

I don't know about you, but biking spandies will NEVER be flattering ( hence why I'm standing behind my bike).  I don't care how fit or thin someone is, they never fail to make someone me, look like my legs are stuffed into a sausage casing.  So if you really want to be slapped in the face with reality of how you actually look, put on some tight-ass bike shorts and parade around.  There is just to much jiggle to be comfortable, so own it, and ride on!

Eat Eat Eat!
bfast = spicy scramble with naked waffle

a.m. snack was an undocumented apple-cinnamon Chobani and an apple

lunch = green sludge! aka green Shakeology with strawberries and pineapple juice, looks nasty, majorly tasty
p.m snack = protein bars and coffee on the porch
I chewed on these while making this...
Trader Joes butternut squash risotto & grilled chix
I'm so looking forward to sleeping in and having the day off tomorrow - be jealous.  If you have the day off tomorrow too, enjoy it, if not, better luck next time.  Adios!

  1. Ok Missy, it may have been a "casual" ride for you but I must say there were times I was seeking breath.
    Just sayin...................
